The Grind did not disappoint. The service and atmosphere were amazing. There are lots of choices on the menu with unique items. Unfortunately, I did not try the famous milkshakes, but the burgers and loaded fries were amazing. I will definitely be returning very soon!

This place was one of the best diners I have ever been to! The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. The milkshakes were extremely unique and absolutely worth ever penny. I definitely know what the "secret" about this place is all about.

For a treat for our family, we went to the Grind for lunch this Sunday afternoon. We always enjoy being together and enjoying good food. The Grind continues to deliver on that expectation. It is no wonder this diner is in demand. The service is always very attentive, eager to speak with their customers, and friendly with service as their badge of honor. Taylor did a wonderful job keeping our beverages topped off and the tree of lemons ever blossoming. Thank you, Taylor! The menu may be overly anxious, and at times hungry is just that—indecisive as to a particular visitor. But the items we have enjoyed, whether the Farmer’s Daughter burger, the Bourbon Chicken and Bacon sandwich, the skillet Mac ‘n Cheese, or the milk shakes—-don’t forget to leave room for that—-are always a taste-bud pleaser. If you are looking for atmosphere, the 80’s are alive at the Grind in Martin. It takes me back to to days of M-TV videos and those classic tunes played in cassette tapes—before CDs were a thing! The classic 80s are streamed through out the restaurant to bring back those memories of the last malt shop in town served up those gigantic shakes for the dating couples. The pseudo jukebox still providing ‘the toons we love...’ Family friendly, always clean, polite and appreciative to server their customers, this places is a hospitality hot spot in a place where memories are too often forgotten—a college town. Their focus is on the customer service in food, atmosphere, and a friendly smile. I thoroughly can recommend this establishment for fun with your young kids, your college kids, or even to get away for an evening with a long term date. Thanks for the great food, friendly conversation, and the reminder things don’t fade when we keep our dreams alive.

My son and I have an annual mother/son dinner post Valentine’s. We go different places but we visited the Grind again. We didn’t request but ironically got seated at the same table from 5 years ago so it was kind of special. My son is 16 now so I know that the dinners probably won’t be annual much longer but the server we had (Jessica) really made it feel even more special. We both had “The Farmers Daughter” burger. I had onion rings and my son had fries. We finished off our meal with “The Churo” milkshake and it was all incredibly. Cooked to perfection!

Had a great experience at The Grind in Martin! Our server Kassidy was super fun and on top of everything the whole time. She made the whole experience well worth it. If you’re in the area and haven’t been yet, definitely check this place out. The food and staff as a whole were great, but bonus points if you get her as your server!
